The latest phase of construction gets started in the parking lot near the Women & Children’s Services (WCS) main entrance.
An area of the east side of the lot will be closed to parking this week and is not expected to reopen until July 4, reports WCS Director Lori Warner. Following that, a new phase of construction will begin, designed to combine the WCS and Heart Center parking lots.
St. Francis employees are asked to park in the employee section of the Heart Center lot or the back of the Emergency Department lot during this period.
A temporary north-south walkway will continue to serve as access to the main entrances of the WCS and Heart Center.
