New traffic signals are expected to be installed by early summer around the Indianapolis campus.
A traffic signal on Stop 11 Road currently is being installed and will be operational this month.
In addition, plans for installing a traffic signal at the north hospital entrance on Emerson Avenue have been approved by the City of Indianapolis. Five utility poles will need to be relocated before the traffic light can be installed. The Emerson Avenue light should be in by early summer.
